plywood with box spring and mattress set inside, dacron, muslin, fur-like fabric, acrylic paint, charcoal; artist's technique: "...I usually start by making a simple wood frame over which I stuff and sew the various shapes that create the images I want to make. I attach the fabric or cloth to the wooden frame by stapling--- I then draw, stitch, or sew additional shapes and forms on the general shape as I go along. the whole thing emerges with each additional step... finally at a certain point the whole thing seems to fall together and I have another piece of furniture."
