Marking a first in Council history, the event, titled "Confrontation" was attended by more than 175 craftsmen, 80 of whom arranged their sales displays in the Ski House at the foot of Mt. Mansfield. Selling space was open to Council craftsmen/sustaining members only, with priority given to the Northeast Region. Craftsmen in each medium elected jurors for open judging and for the selection of a Court of Honor.
