Pappas' hanging Chest of Drawers was comprised of socks, drawer pulls, cotton, and stitchery. Kelly's Mandolin, Web, and String Portrait were comprised of muslim, string, and found boxes. Kelly's Gorilla (obscured) was made of burlap, string, and wool. Kelly's hanging Duena was comprised of muslim, cord, cottom lace, and marbles. The exhibition "Fabric Collage" was organized into three sections: Contemporary Hangings by five artists living in the United States, a collection of historic American Quilts, and a special section of appliques by the Kuna Indians of the San Blas Islands. It was on display at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York City, April 2 through May 23, 1965.
