"Queued for Craft Fair" Baltimore Sun February 20, 1977. Caption reads: "Yesterday's first public day of the Winter Market of American Crafts attracted a long waiting line outside the Civic Center of persons eager to see quilts, furniture, jewelry, ceramics and wood toys handmade by 400 jury-picked craftsmen. Representatives of the fair's sponsor, Northeast Craft Fair, Ldt., were so pleased with the estimated 14,000-person turnout yesterday that they speculated the fair may become an annual event in Baltimore. The first two days of the market were open for wholesalers only. The fair resumes today from noon until 8 P.M.
