Installation by Ted Hallman, Jr. made of a woven cube with Acrilan fibers on a steel frame. Fibers were provided by Monsanto Company in New York City. Exterior of cube is woven with a geometric pattern while the interior has more of a shag effect. Image produced in association with the exhibition "Contemplation Environments", on view from January 16 through March 18, 1970 at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York City. The exhibition was developed from artists' submissions for personal meditative spaces. Architect Gamal El Zoghby organized the sixteen selected concepts into an integrated plan covering the gallery areas where viewers were allowed to experience each work.
