Installation by Terry Fugate-Wilcox consisting of a circular Plexiglas platform surrounded by pillars supporting a mirrored ceiling. When the viewer steps onto the platform, light and warm air currents are activated. Image produced in association with the exhibition "Contemplation Environments", on view from January 16 through March 18, 1970 at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York City. The exhibition was developed from artists' submissions for personal meditative spaces. Architect Gamal El Zoghby organized the sixteen selected concepts into an integrated plan covering the gallery areas where viewers were allowed to experience each work.
