ACTS was presented as an experiment with new ideas and forms, in the belief that participation in art as an integral part of daily life heightens the individual's sensitivity and awareness level. Taking place in three acts, it ran from April 3 to June 6, 1971. Act II: Citysenses, which ran from April 24 - May 16, consisted of activities to perform in the city environment, designed to increase sensory awareness. In the museum, participants were able to respond to the city experience through various media creating an exhibition. This display shows where participants could pick up their scores, written by Marilyn Wood with Jim Burns, (the list of activities) and prompts them to create art responding to their experiences.
